Church Client Privacy Policy
Important Notice About Your Text Message Data
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, your text message opt-in, or your consent records with any third party for their own marketing purposes. We share this information only with the service providers who help us deliver the messages you asked for, and only as far as they need it to do that work.
Who We Are and Who This Policy Covers
TRV Global LLC, doing business as Church Amplified ("Church Amplified," "we," "our," or "us"), is a marketing agency that runs advertising, lead forms, and guest follow-up on behalf of the churches and ministries we serve (each a "Client Church").
This policy applies when you give us your information through a form, ad, page, or text message we operate for a Client Church. That includes Facebook and Instagram lead forms, Plan Your Visit and event registration pages, and the text messages and emails that follow. When you submit one of these forms, the church named on the form is the church you are connecting with, and we collect and handle your information on that church's behalf.
Your Client Church may also have its own privacy policy, which governs how the church itself uses your information after it receives it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, mobile phone number, and mailing address or ZIP code when a form asks for it. We also collect your answers to the form's questions, such as which service you plan to attend, how many people are coming with you, whether you are bringing children, and how you heard about the church.
Consent records. The date, time, method, and wording of every opt-in you give us for text messages or email, and every opt-out request you send.
Communication history. The messages we send you on behalf of a Client Church, your replies, and your visit status, such as whether you planned a visit and whether you attended.
Technical information. When you visit a page we operate, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page, and the date and time of your visit.
How We Use Your Information
- Pass your visit request or event registration to the Client Church you chose
- Send you confirmations, directions, service times, and reminders before your visit
- Follow up after your visit on the church's behalf, by text, email, or phone
- Answer your questions and handle your requests
- Keep accurate records of your consent and your opt-out requests
- Measure and improve the church's advertising, including through Meta's advertising tools
- Protect against fraud, spam, and misuse
- Meet our legal obligations
Text Message Program Terms
We manage text messaging on behalf of our Client Churches. Each message identifies the church it is sent for.
- Opt-in. You will only receive text messages if you agree to receive them, for example by checking a consent box or agreeing to a consent statement on a form. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of attending a church, registering for an event, or making any purchase.
- What you will receive. Messages about your planned visit or registration, such as confirmations, directions, reminders, service updates, and follow-up after your visit.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your visit date and your replies.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
- Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or email travis@churchamplified.com.
- Opting back in. If you opt out and want to receive messages again, you can opt in again the same way you did the first time, or reply START.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- With the Client Church you chose. Your information goes to the church named on the form so its team can welcome you and follow up.
- With service providers. We use trusted providers to run our services, such as our customer relationship management platform, text message and email delivery providers, and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide services to us, and must protect it.
- With Meta Platforms. When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes your information under its own data policy. We may also use Meta's tools to measure how well a church's ads are working.
- For legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
- In a business transfer. If Church Amplified is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, under the same protections described here.
None of the sharing described above includes sharing your mobile number or text message opt-in data with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include encryption in transit, access controls that limit who can see your information, and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, for as long as we serve the Client Church you connected with, or as long as the law requires. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to prove compliance with messaging laws.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Pages we operate may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use the page, measure advertising results, and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some pages work.
Children's Privacy
Our forms and messages are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian may register children for a visit or an event. If we learn that we have collected information directly from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. To request deletion, email travis@churchamplified.com.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information
- Withdraw your consent to text messages or email at any time
- Object to or limit certain uses of your information
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws have similar rights.
Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may also have rights to data portability and to restrict processing, and may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
To make a request, email travis@churchamplified.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires, normally within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Canadian Residents
If you live in Canada, we handle your personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), applicable provincial privacy laws, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- Consent. We rely on your express consent before sending you commercial electronic messages. We record the date, method, and wording of that consent. Where the law allows implied consent, such as an existing relationship with a church, we rely on it only for the limited time the law permits and keep records of it.
- Identification. Every message we send identifies the church it is sent for and includes a way to contact us, including our mailing address, an email address, and a phone number.
- Unsubscribing. Every message includes a simple way to unsubscribe, such as replying STOP. The unsubscribe method works for at least 60 days after the message is sent. We honour unsubscribe requests without delay, and always within 10 business days.
- Records. We securely keep records of consents and unsubscribe requests as the law requires.
- Access and correction. You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.
- Storage outside Canada. Church Amplified is based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process your information in the United States or other countries. While there, it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local laws. We require our providers to protect it to a standard consistent with PIPEDA.
- Minors. Where a province or territory sets the age of majority at 18 or 19, we ask that anyone under that age have a parent or guardian provide their information or consent.
- Privacy contact. Our privacy contact is Travis Ventrella, reachable at the address and email below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If we make a material change, we will post a notice on this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or text.
